Different hands – different needs
HICURA offers two different handle sizes: size M for small
to medium hands, and size L for medium to large hands.
HICURA handles are designed to enhance usability
and user comfort during laparoscopy. Depending on
preferences and the field of application, handles with
ratchet, deactivatable ratchet, or no ratchet are available.
Adapted jaws mechanism
The two dedicated joint mechanisms (CAM and SL) give
the surgeon adapted tissue control during grasping and
dissection. Optimized tissue manipulation with the CAM
grasping mechanism and the SL dissection mechanism:
The CAM mechanism provides higher grasping
forces and is therefore designed for firm grasping,
whereas the SL mechanism is designed for optimized
dissection because the jaws open at a wider angle.
